James "Jim" D. Clements 1948 - 2003 James "Jim" D. Clements, 54, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, January 5, 2003. Born in Corner Brook, NF he was the son of the late Harold J. and Jane A. (McCarthy) Clements. He was a graduate of St. FX in 1970. Jim was the Director of Education and Communications at the Moncton Hospital (SouthEast Regional Health Authority). He was a member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church, St. George Blvd. Active in his community, he was a member of the R.C.M.P. Auxillary, Codiac Detachment and as an avid sportsman, he was involved with minor sports in Riverview including baseball, soccer and hockey. He is survived by three sons, James Jr. & his wife Gisele Clements of Davenport Ia. USA, Mark & his wife Debby Clements of Riverview, NB and Paul Clements of Riverview; grandchildren, Dominique, Avery and Dawson; three sisters, Delores & her husband Brendan Lewis, Kim & her husband Eugene Gale both of Corner Brook, NF and Denise Clements of Calgary AB; two brothers, Terry & his wife Terri Clements of L'Ords, Cape Breton, NS and Eugene & his wife Elsie Clements of Corner Brook, NF; mother-in-law, Ivy Burt of Corner Brook, NF; and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Gloria J. (Burt) Clements in 1997. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, January 8, 2003 from 7 to 9pm and Thursday, January 9, 2003 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at The Moncton Wesleyan Church, St. George Blvd. on Friday, January 10, 2003 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Dr. L. Buckingham officiating. Interment will be in Mount Patricia Cemetery, Corner Brook, NF in the spring. Donations in Jim's memory made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital "Oncology Dept." and to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital "Jim Clements Education Scholarship Fund" would be appreciated by his family.
