
Oscar Z. LeBlanc
Oscar Z. LeBlanc 1919 - 2003 Oscar Z. LeBlanc, 83, of Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2003 at his residence. Born in Lakeburn, he was the son of the late Charles and the late Alice (née: Robichaud) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc lived in Boston for 50 years, where he was known and had retired as a baker with great natural ability. He was also known as an avid gardener and an artist-painter, having had several exhibits. He was also a veteran of WWII, having served in the Canadian Army, a member of the Copley Art Society of Boston and the Moncton Art Society. He is survived by one sister, Yvette (Raymond "Tuffy") Steeves of Dieppe; three brothers, Charles (Winnifred) and Rhéal (Jeanita), both of Dieppe and Valmont (Freda) of Richibucto; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. LeBlanc was predeceased by two sisters, Lorraine and Gloria; and by two brothers, Yvon and Roger. At his request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Ste.Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, February 21, 2003 at 11:00 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
