J. Mark MacDonald ELLERSHOUSE, NS - J. Mark MacDonald, age 62, of Ellershouse, Hants County, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2003, at his home in Ellershouse. Born in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of Trudy (MacKnight), Napan, NB and the late Byron MacDonald. He managed Byron MacDonald Ltd., (Painting and Sandblasting contractors), Napan, NB until his retirement in Nova Scotia. Besides his mother he is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Toole); daughters, Anne (Dwayne) Williston, Saint John, NB, Susan MacDonald, Miramichi, NB, Amy (Tony) Astles, Fredericton, NB, Colleen (Robert) England, Salisbury, NB; sons, Jeffrey, Cochrane, AB, Darrell (financée, Julie), Guelph, ON; sisters, Gwen (Elwin) Dickson, Napan, NB, Eleanor (David) Uphan, Mount Aukum, California, USA, Dorothy, Truro, NS, Peggy (Darrin) MacDonald, Miramichi, NB; brothers, Dennis (Jessie), Napan, NB, Lockie (Sharon), Miramichi, NB, Stephen (Sandra), Napan, NB, Roy (Wendy), South Jordan, Utah, USA. He will be sadly missed by nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Carole (Currie); father, Byron MacDonald; brother, Gerald MacDonald. Visitations will be held on Sunday, 24 and 7-9 pm in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service will be held, 1 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2003 in the Hants County War Memorial Community Centre, (Windsor Community Centre), Thomas St., Windsor, William Bryant, Gordon Hazelwood and James Abbott officiating. Interment in Miramichi, NB at a later date. Donations may be made to charity of choice.
