Yvon Richard 1922 - 2003 SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Yvon Richard of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at the age of 80. Born in St-Ignace, he was the son of the late Olivier and Eva(Babineau) Richard. He worked for many years for Hewlett Packard in Waltham, Mass. before retiring to Saint-Louis. Mr. Richard was a veteran of the 2nd World War having served in Europe. He was a memeber of the Richibouctou Legion No. 30. He is survived by his second wife Lauida (Despres) Richard; step sons Donald and Francis of Rogersville; one sister, Florine (Anthony) Grey of Holiday, Florida; three brothers, Rev. Theodule, M.S. of Grandby. QC; Mgr Andre, c.s.c., Archbishop of Moncton; Valmond, c.s.c. of Sao Paulo, Brazil; and an adopted brother, Jean of Moncton. He is also survived by two aunts, several brothers and sisters in law as well as nephews and nieces. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Alma (Babin) Richard; two brothers, Bernard and Elide, and a sister Aurore. Remains resting at the Thompson Memorial Home in Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visiting hours from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the SaintLouis-des-francais Church on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at 4 p.m. Interment at the Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Thompson Funeral Home, Richbouctou.
