Phyllis Estabrooks SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Phyllis Estabrooks, age 78, wife of Vernon Estabrooks, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 6, 2003, after a fifteen and a half year battle with cancer, inspiring many who knew and loved her. Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Myrtle (Estabrooks) Wry. She leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of 60 years, Vernon Estabrooks. She will be always lovingly missed by her daughter, Marolyn, Sackville; four grandchildren, Lori, John (Pam), Lindi (Glenn) and Rodney; five great grandchildren, John, Justin, Nicole, Amanda, and Stephanie; five sisters, Evelyn Ripley, Toronto, ON, Norma (Vaughn) Hicks, Sackville, Rachel (Donald) Tower, Dorchester, Gloria (William) Mitton, Portage Vale, NB and Carolyn (Sheldon) Hicks, Midgic; a brother, Donald (Joy), Venice Fl; an aunt Verna Williams, Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Irene, Betty and Kathryn; and a brother, Horace. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville with visitation Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 8, 2003 at 2 pm, Pastor Barry Todd officiating. Burial in Westcock Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
