Marion Eileen Davis FREDERICTON, NB - The passing of Marion E. Davis of Fredericton occurred June 7, 2003 at the Dr. Everett chalmers Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 83. Born in Moncton NB, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Eleanor (Horsman) Trites and wife of the late Glen Davis. Marion graduated from the Provincial School in 1937, becoming a teacher and teaching in various locations in NB. She was a homemaker and a member of Brunswick Street Baptist Church. Marion will be remembered by many for her letters to the editor of The Daily Gleaner. Surviving are two sons, Peter (Marsha) and John (Cathy) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, and Beth all of Fredericton; one brother, Vaughan Trites (Erma) of Moncton; one sister, Lois Clitheroe (Herbert) of Toronto, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton , where visitation will be held, Tuesday 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at 11 AM with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. Interment will be held privately.
