Anne Mary Burgess 1918 - 2003 Anne Mary Burgess, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, June 15, 2003 at the age of 85 years. Born in Plaster Rock, NB on March 8, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lillian (MacDougall) Thibodeau. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. Anne retired after 28 years service in the accounting department for the federal government at the # 5 Depot. Also she was a veteran of WW2 serving with the Medical Core (CWAC). She is survived by brothers-in-law, Lawrence Burgess, with whom she resided, and Lee (Rachel) Burgess of Grand Falls; brothers, Kenneth (Hilda) of Kitchener, ON, Raymond (Dora) of Kitchener, ON, and Maurice (Simone) of Kingston, ON; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Burgess in 2000; brothers, Harry, Charles, Louis, Roy, Donald, Lenwood, and Gordon. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 8:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at 11:00 am with Father Jeff Doucett officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery.
