Agnes "Nina" S. Meech HAMPTON, NB - The death of Agnes "Nina" S. Meech, 93, of Hampton, widow of Lennard A. Meech, occurred June 9, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Glasgow, Scotland she was a daughter of the late William and Isabella (McGeachey) Campbell. She came to Canada in 1913 and resided in West Toronto, Moncton, moving to Hampton in 1993. She worked at Blue Cross and the Moncton Post Office from where she retired in 1967. Nina was a life member of Fort Moncton Chapter, I.O.D.E. served as its regent in 19711972. She was a member of Central United Church, Moncton Curlers' Association, Moncton Hub City Lawn Bowling League and Hillcrest Seniors Club. She is survived by one son, Walter Meech (Nancy) of Hampton; one daughter, Eleanor Robinson (Doug) of Wellington, Ontario; two grandchildren, Alan Meech (Annette) of Fredericton, Heather Banks (Michael) of Calgary; three great grandsons; several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held June 13, 2003 at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel, Hampton, with Rev. Keith Lyons officiating. The organist was Glenna Geer and the soloist was Marie Short.
