Lloyd Austin Butland OROMOCTO NB - The death of Lloyd Austin Butland of Lakeville Corner occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Sunday, June 29th, 2003. Born in Alma, NB, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Victoria (Carr) Butland, husband of the late Ethel (Calvert) Butland. Lloyd served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1951-1952 and from 19541983 as a physiotherapist until his retirement and then continued working as a physiotherapist in the Minto Hospital. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 53 F&AM for many years. Survived by one son, Christopher (Darlene) of Darthmouth, NS; one daughter, Victoria MacLeod (Richard) of New Maryland; six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Scott, Jennifer, Krista, Cindy and KayDee; four brothers, Hilton (Helen) of Moncton, NB, Elden of Shediac, NB, Melvin of ON and Russell (Louise) of Alma, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at the Lakeville Corner United Baptist Church on Thursday, July 3rd, at 2:00 pm. Rev. James Webber will officiate.
