Dorothy "Dot" G. Lutes 1915 - 2003 Dorothy "Dot" Geneva Lutes, 88, of Moncton and formerly of Turtle Creek, NB, passed away at K. E. Spencer Memorial Home on Sunday, September 21, 2003. Born in Collier Mountain, NB, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Bina (Leaman) Collier. She was a retired employee of the CNIB. She attended the First Baptist Church in Turtle Creek. Dot enjoyed cooking, quilting and she was active in her community having volunteered and worked with the Riverview Lions Club and other organizations. She is survived by four daughters, Vivian Lutes of Edmonton, AB, Rosalie Tower (Arnold) of Turtle Creek, Pauline Arsenault (Joseph) of Turtle Creek and Joanne Renton (Garry) of Moncton; five sons, Lewis (Pauline), Leonard (Betty), John (Theresa), Robert (Marilyn), all of Turtle Creek and Dean (Jean) of Moncton; son-in-law, Bryan Garland of Moncton and 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; one sister, Rhoda and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Bradshaw Lutes in 1980; a daughter, Bina in 1989; a sister, Vera and by two brothers, Cedric and Irving. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview on Monday, September 22, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 23, 2003 afternoon with time to be announced. The family will be receiving relatives and friends in the reception area of the funeral home immediately following the funeral service. Interment will be in Wesleyan Union Cemetery, Upper Coverdale, NB. Donations in Dot's memory to Alzhelmer's Society would be appreciated by her family.
