Ulysse Gaudet

Ulysse Gaudet MEMRAMCOOK, NB - Ulysse John Gaudet, Ph.D. of Philosophy passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2003 at the Foyer St-Thomas at the age of 100. Born in Weymouth, NS, he was the son of the late Daniel Gaudet and late Eugenie Amirault. He worked at the New Brunswick Liquor Commission until his retirement. After his retirement, he taught Adult Education for 10 years. He was also a past president of the Caisse Populaire Federation for 26 years and was a Commissioner of Oath. He is survived by his wife, Irene (Richard) Gaudet; one daughter, Monique (Leonard) Vassallo of Corner Brook NFLD; two sons, Pierre (Patricia) Gaudet of St-Joseph, Gilles (Marcia) Gaudet of La Montain; one sister, Germaine (late Jean) Chiasson of Dieppe; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Nicole, Denis, Andre, Nathalie, Louissa, Marc; four great grandchildren, Veronica, Eve, Abby and Marc-Andre; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Sr Rosaline f.m.a., Juliette; four brothers, Camille, Edouard, Louis and Walter. Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, November 13 from 7 to 9 p.m, Friday, November 14 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Friday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
