Iris Estabrooks SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Iris Estabrooks, age 87, wife of Charles Estabrooks of Sackville, occurred Sunday, January 31, 2004 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Hawick, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Heatley) Hall. She emigrated to Canada as a young person. Iris is a member of the Main Street Baptist Church, Sackville, and a former member of the Lord Sackville Chapter of the IODE Iris will be sadly missed by her husband of 61 years, Charles Estabrooks, Sackville; her son, Keith (Louise), Ottawa, ON; a granddaughter, Anne, and a grandson, Michael, both of Ottawa, ON, and a sister, Agnes (Nan) Aasen, Melrose, NB. She was predeceased by brothers, John, James, Tom and George. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 2pm, Rev. Barry Todd officiating, reception to follow. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery in the spring.
