Dorothy Mahoney 1928 - 2004 Dorothy Mahoney, wife of Reginald of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday May 3, 2004 at the age of 75. Born in Campbelton on July 20 ,1928 she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Louise Day. Dorothy was a child care provider in Riverview for many years and very active in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. In addition to her devoted husband of 56 years, Reginald, she is survived by her children, Dan (Myrtle) of Gander, NL, Charlene Sonier (Bill) of Cornwall, ON, Kevin (Nancy) of Hillsborough, Darrell of Ottawa, ON, Kenneth, Mark (Kim), Karen Anne Mollins (Brian) all of Moncton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Olive and Doris. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, with visitation on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM with parish prayers at 8.30 PM. The Funeral Mass will take place at the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at 2 PM. A reception for Dorothy's family and friends will immediately follow the service in the church hall. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
