BIRD - Lee Landon
April 11, 1974 - February 24, 2009

Lee Landon Bird, a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend passed away unexpectedly at the age of 34. Lee was born in Prince Albert and attended school at John Diefenbaker and Carlton Comprehensive High School. Lee worked for several years for Kin Enterprises where he developed many close friendships. He was a very giving person and also an avid Raiders fan, volunteering for many years with that organization. He was most recently employed as a security officer with Absolute Security and Investigations; which was a job he truly loved. Lee spent his leisure time watching monster truck and car races and had a passion for listening to country music. Lee was a very social person and shared in many happy and memorable events with his family and close friends. Lee was especially proud of his relationship with the staff of Barzelle & Burkosky Paving. The family is indebted for the fellowship that the employees there showed to Lee. Lee is survived by his dad Finalson; his sister Glenda (Bill) Monkman; his brothers Rob (Bernice), Kevin, Shawn (Karen) and Joel; his nieces and nephews Michael (Amanda) Bird & their son Kaiden, Darell & Joe Spence, Adam (Jaralyn) Monkman, Jordan Monkan and Kayla & Brennan Bird; several aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, special neighbours; Gilbert & Elaine Matheis and Larry & Jackie Brewster. He was predeceased by his mom Jean Bird; grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Lee will be missed for his many stories, constant smile and outgoing personality. He loved and was loved and will remain in our hearts forever. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Grays Funeral Chapel, 575 - 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Mr. Brian Clarke officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Charity of Donor's Choice.
