George J. LeBlanc George J. LeBlanc, 76, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, October 15, 2004. Born in Quincy, MASS, he was the son of the late Maxime and Elodia (Leger) LeBlanc. George was a retired Codiac Transit Bus Driver, attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church and was a former member of the M.A.A.C. Club. George had a great zest for life. He enjoyed carpentry, having made furniture and a kayak for his grandsons. He also enjoyed model airplanes, sailing, hunting and fishing, but most of all he was so very proud of his two special grandsons. George will be sadly missed by his wife of over 51 years, Mildred (West) LeBlanc; grandsons, Jean Paul (Nicole), and Chris (Bridgett), Memramcook; great grandson, Samuel; sister, Helen Thibodeau (Eloie), Minto; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter, Catherine (1985); sisters, Edna and Anita; brothers, Abel, Pat and Edward. Private family visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995). Funeral Mass at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at 10am with Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the Mass. Interment, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Memramcook.
