Marion G. Hicks Marion G. Hicks, 86 of McKees Mills passed away at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Wednesday, November 10, 2004. Born in Shediac, daughter of the late Arthur and Georgina (Dunn) Mugridge. Marion was retired from Moncton #5 Supply Depot with over 21 years service, attended Zion United Church (McKees Mills), she was a member of Zion United Church Ladies Aid and McKees Mills Ladies Auxilary. Besides the love for her family, she enjoyed sewing, knitting and crafts. Marion will be sadly missed by her husband of over 64 years, Jack L. Hicks; daughters, Doreen Cormier (Murray), Dartmouth, NS, Phyllis Vecsey (Ralph), Gananouque, ON, Bernice Carter (Ralph), Moncton; son, Glenn (Jo-Ann), McKees Mills; grandchildren, Lea Cormier (Ross), Darren Cormier (Lisa), Scott Carter (Annick), Mike Slade, Corey Hicks (Melissa), Carla Jasper (Christian); great grandchildren, Nathan, Aaron, Holly, Jewel, Jasmine, Jackson and Carson; special nephew, Ralph MacDonald (Lois), Moncton and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister, Jean and one brother, Cecil. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton (858-1995), Friday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, November 13, 2004, 1pm. Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Reception following the service. Interment Hillside Cemetery, McKees Mills.
