Robert M. Ritchie 1921 - 2004 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Robert McKay Ritchie, husband of Inez Ritchie, of Wellington Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Saturday, December 18, 2004 at the age of 83. Born in Richleau, PQ, he was the son of the late William G. and Grace (Mundell) Ritchie. He was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces (R.C.A.F.); a member of Branch # 3, Royal Canadian Legion, Miramichi; and a former member of the Lions Clubs. He was an adherent of the Anglican Church. He was a Veteran of the Second World War, serving in Canada with the R.C.A.F. He is survived by his wife, the former Inez Joyce; three daughters, Joanne Ritchie, of Edmonton, AB, Carolyn Bedford (George), of Port Hawksbury, NS, and Janice Moss (Robert), of Lakeside, ON; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Lois Ritchie; and one brother, Jack Ritchie. By request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Following cremation a private interment will take place in Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
