Mildred "Millie" Sowerby 1926 - 2005 DORCHESTER CROSSING, NB - Mildred "Millie" Sowerby, 78, wife of the late Cecil E. Sowerby of Dorchester Crossing, NB, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 18, 2005. Born in Moncton, April 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William Tilley and the late Marion Williston. She was a member of St. Martin's In The Woods Church, Shediac Cape. Mildred is survived by her devoted family, six daughters, Dona Melanson (Larry) of Scoudouc, Barbara Sowerby (Eugene Ruel) and Janet Belliveau (Pete) all of Shediac, Katherine Conkling (J.C.) of Clearwater, Florida, Debra Vaters (Blair) of Moncton and Candice Robinson (Dave) of Charlottetown, P.E.I.; four sons, Terry (Brenda) of Abbotsford, B.C., Tommy (Cindy) of Calgary, AB., Gordie (Monique) of Black Diamond, AB., and Cecil (Joanne) of Scoudouc; three sisters, Glenna Russell of Amherst, N.S., Lorraine Wilson of Montréal, QC., Winona Rhodes of London, ON.; her twin brother, Millard (Camy) of London, ON.; 20 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and also by a special niece, Nancy Murrin, who lovingly cared for her throughout her illness. Besides her husband, Cecil E. Sowerby (2000); she was also predeceased by two daughters, Peggy and Susan; one sister, Berta White; and by three brothers, Warren, Leonard and Otis. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (5323297) on Monday, March 21 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Tuesday, March 22 from 12 noon until time of departure. The Funeral Service will be held at 1p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at St. Martin's In the Woods Church, Shediac Cape. Interment will be in St. Martin's In the Woods Cemetery, Shediac Cape.
