Douglas Eugene Wilt

Douglas Eugene Wilt 1934 - 2005 BASS RIVER POINT, NB - Douglas Eugene Wilt of Bass River Point, NB passed away peacefully at home June 17, 2005 at the age of 71. He was the son of the late Joseph Wilt and the late Minnie Barnes. He was a member of our Armed Forces and served two years in Germany. He worked in construction with Reese Dickie and drove trucks for C.P. Transport, Day & Ross, and retired from the Department of Highways in Harcourt. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Gauvin (Denis) of St. Marie de Kent, Donna Leslie (Stephen) of Markham, ON; and a special friend, Rowena Budd of Ford Bank; two sisters, Mildred Holmden (Tom) of Berrington, and Ida Comeau (Norman) of Moncton; two brothers, Bob Wilt of Moncton and Henry Wilt; three grandchildren, Terri, Kristina and Brennen; also many loved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Erma (Crossman) Wilt; four brothers, William, Joseph, Bonar and Lawrence; and three sisters, Mary, Bessie, and Jennie. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, 33 Acadia Street, Richibucto, on Sunday, June 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Browns Yard on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 1:00pm. Interment Cannan Forks. Donations in Doug's memory can be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
