Raymond Joseph Donelle 1926 - 2005 The death of Raymond Joseph Donelle, 79 years, husband of Audrey (Wilson) of Church Street, Moncton occurred at Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home on Sunday, August 7, 2005. Born in Moncton, January 11, 1926, he was the son of the late Louis and Emma (Duguay) Donelle. Raymond retired in 1986 from Moncton Publishing after a 38 year career as a compositor. He was a member of St Theresa's Church in Dieppe, where he was very active with the Golden Age Club, taking part in all the activities of the club, in particular playing cards, darts and dancing. Raymond enjoyed bowling, softball, spending time at the cottage he built in Caissie Cape and his most favorite activity, spoiling his grandchildren whom he adored. Raymond is survived by his best friend and wife of 55 years, Audrey (Wilson) Donelle. A loving father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his daughter, Mary Sue Strickland (Russell) of Moncton; his sons, Michael (Wanda) of Windsor, NS and David (Bernadette) of Moncton; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Belzile, Denise Belzile, Mallory Belzile, Monica Donelle, Stephen Donelle, Ryan Donelle and Jennifer Donelle; his sisters, Cecile Landry (Larry), Alva Cormier, Louise Gauvin (Emile), Margaret Jones and Jeannette Costain; his brothers, Clorice (Jeannine), Ronald, Frederick (Leta), William (Linda), Donald (Ruth), Frank (Edwina), John (Elizabeth), Paul (Annette); as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Louise, Alida, Patricia; and brothers, Roger, Leo, Emile, Irving, Patrick and Omer. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street, Moncton with visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St Theresa's Church, Dieppe, followed by a reception in the Golden Age Club Hall. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home or the Friends of the Moncton Hospital.
