James Pappas 1936 - 2005 James Pappas of Riverview, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Monday, August 29, 2005 at the age of 68 years. Jim worked for 37 years as an employee for General Motors in Oshawa, Ontario. He was a member the Bethyl Presbyterian Church and a member of the men's group within the church. He is survived by his wife, Pam (Lawrence); daughter, Thea (Jamie) Trenholm, Oshawa, ON; stepsons, Brian Moore, Mississauga, ON and David (Traci) Moore, Oshawa, ON; sister, Gloria (Allen) McGarrity, Riverview; brother, Deno (Cathy) Pappas, Riverview; sister-in-law, Diane (John) Platt, Carnarvon, Joan Inglis, Scarborough, Lois and Patricia Pappas, Oshawa, ON; also by four grandchildren. Besides his parents, Gus Pappas and Clementine McKee, Jim was predeceased by brothers, Peter, George, and Nicholas Pappas. Visitation will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. There will be an Eastern Star service at 6:15pm, a Masonic Service at 6:30pm and a Lions Service at 7:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 2:00pm with Rev. Charles Cook officiating. Interment will be in Wesleyan Union Cemetery.
