Peacefully, at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary, on Sunday, March 8, 2009 of Cora Pearl Ramsay, formerly of Campbellton, aged 83 years, beloved wife of Fred Ramsay, Lady Slipper Villa. Born in Palmer Road, on May 10, 1925, daughter of Howard (Ted) and Emmeline (Cannon) Costain. Born again on November 9, 1961. Dear mother of Eldon (Elaine), O’Leary; Lana (Theo) Dumville, Dunblane; Robert (Dolores), Bloomfield; Zelma (Vincent) Jones, Quispansis, N.B.; Ralph (Patricia), Campbellton; Linda (Allan) Wallace, Coleman; Arlene (Wilbert) Thibodeau, Bloomfield; Edgar (Stephanie), Campbellton, Brent (Helen), Mill Road. Mother-in-law of Brian (Verna) MacDonald, Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren. Sister of Ruth Shaw, Canoe Cove; Esther Wells, Alberton; and Ken (Hazel) Costain, Woodstock. Sister-in-Law of Julia Costain, Evelyn Boyles, Thelma (Lorne) Shaw, Olive Ramsay, Ruby Giliss and Calvin Ramsay. Predeceased by daughter Sybil, brothers Eldon, Howard, and Ben; sister Mildred and brother-in-law Melvin Ramsay. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the Rosebank Gospel Hall Cemetery.
