Helen Margaret Galley 1926 - 2006 The death of Helen Margaret Galley wife of Milton Galley of Miramichi, NB occurred on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 80. Born in Douglastown, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Clara (Edmonds) Vautour. Helen was a homemaker who attended St. Samuel's Roman Catholic Church and was a promoter of the Miraculous Medal. Besides her husband, Milton, Helen is survived by one daughter, Margaret Ann Arseneault (Allen) of Russellville, NB; two sons, William (Bill) (Margaret) of Napan, NB, Charles Junior (Kelly) of Miramichi, NB; one sister, Florence Preston (Cecil) of Ferry Road, NB; two brothers, Walter of Douglastown, NB, William (Bud) (Mary) of Redmondville, NB; six grandchildren, Jesse, Joshua, Kayla, Alicia, Krista and Kailey; and many nieces and nephews. Helen is predeceased by sisters, Marion, Margie, Alma and Olive; and brothers, Leo, Norman, Benny, Fred, John, Leonard and Chester. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, this evening from 7 to 9 PM and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Samuel's Roman Catholic Church, Douglastown, NB, on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 11 AM with Father Sam Diotte officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. In Helen's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CCU of the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
