Reginald L. Steeves ELGIN, NB - Reginald L. Steeves of Elgin, passed away Monday, January 8th, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital, at the age of 87. Born in Meadow, he was the son of the late Willis and Violetta Steeves. He was a farmer and a member of the First Elgin Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Judith Steeves of Elgin; sons, Harold Carter (Mary) and Robert Carter (Sue) both of Ontario; step son, Ronald Downey of Meadow; sister, Alveldia Bannister of Elgin; four grandchildren, Cherie, Richard, Laura, Steven; one great grandchild, Olivia; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ada; his second wife, Eleanor; son, Leon; brothers, Roy, Donald, Ora; sisters, Wilma, Mariam, Mabel, Ella, Marie. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held from First Elgin Baptist Church on Thursday, January 11th, 2007 at 1:30pm, Pastor James Hammond officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery.
