Mrs. Caroline Robichaud 1914-2007 MIRAMICHI, NB - Caroline Robichaud passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on June 5, 2007, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 93. Born in Baie Ste-Anne on April 13, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Maxime Manuel and Suzanne Martin. She lost her husband and true love Raphael Robichaud in the Escuminac disaster on June 19, 1959. Since that time, she devoted her life to her family. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Melinda (Jean-Paul) Theriault and their children; Therese (Dieppe), Richard (Ernestine Morais - Moncton), as well as Robert (Martine Savoie), Vernon (Marie-Mai McIntyre) and Angela (Brian Durelle), of Baie Ste-Anne. Are also in mourning, her adopted son Ronald Manuel (Yvonisse Gallant) from Baie Ste-Anne and their children, Paul, Claude, Huguette and Denis; 18 great-grandchildren who she loved dearly, Sylvie, Rene, Mathieu, Alisha, Franyois, Danica, Suzanne, Justin, Jania, Louise, Danielle, Charmaine, Isabelle, Joshua, Camille, Zachary, Nadia and Cedric; as well as 15 nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her five brothers, Edmond, Allison, David, Wilfred and James; an infant sister, Marie; as well as by two grandchildren, Lise and Mathieu. The family will receive condolences at the Baie Ste-Anne slumber room on Thursday, June 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday June 8 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 4 p.m. in Ste-Anne's church.
