Karl Weir 1940-2007 OSHAWA, ON - Karl Weir, 67, of Oshawa, ON, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2007 at the Lakeridge Health Center in Oshawa. Karl was born in Albert, Albert Co., NB, the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (McAnulty) Weir. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting whenever he got the chance. He also treasured the times he spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by his loving son, Craig Weir (Denise) of Riverview; and by his cherished grandsons, Thomas and Ethan; four sisters, Dessie McAnulty of Kemptville, ON, Marie Rossiter (Gordie) of Moncton, Marg Elliott (Dale) of Riverside-Albert, Donna Hayward (Alan) of Shediac; three brothers, Howard Weir (Joan) of Shepody, Douglas Weir (Linda) of Oshawa, ON, Darrell Weir (Kathy) of Riverside-Albert; brothers-in-law, Eldon Butland of Shediac and Chesley Snelgrove of Germantown; sister-in-law, Carol Shannon of Beaverbrook. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two sisters, Juanita Butland and Elinor Snelgrove; three brothers, Garry Weir, Clinton Weir and Carney Weir. A Memorial Service to celebrate Karl's life will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 11am with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and for refreshments at the funeral home.
