
Jean-Louis "Rudy Kay" Cormier
Jean-Louis "Rudy Kay" Cormier 1942-2008 Jean-Louis "Rudy Kay" Cormier of Moncton passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Monday, May 26th 2008 at the age of 65. Born in Breau's Creek, on June 24th, 1942, he was the son of the late Edmond and Bernadette (Doucet) Cormier. He was a retired professional wrestler and promoter for 25 years. Following his wrestling career he was employed with FedEx Canada until his retirement. Jean-Louis enjoyed gardening and was an avid sports fan (Habs), especially spending many hours watching his grand children, Natacha et Mathieu play hockey. His passions were writing music and playing guitar, and he also had a great interest in horses, both harness and draft. He will be sadly missed by wife of 43 years, Claudette (LeBlanc) Cormier; his two daughters, Monique (Jean) Leblanc and Michelle (Gerry) Landry, both of Memramcook; two sons, Jamie (Nancy) Cormier and Jason Cormier, both of Moncton; two special grand children, Natacha et Mathieu LeBlanc of Memramcook. He is also survived by four sisters, Dorice (late Raymond) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Bertha (late Raymond) LeBlanc of St-Anselme, Aline Gautreau of St-Anselme, Marguerite (Alfie) Ranson of Saint John; five brothers, Rolando (Marcella) Cormier, Memramcook, East, Romeo (Judy) Cormier, Yvon (Doris) Cormier, both of Breau's Creek, Leonce Cormier, Calgary, AB, Malcolm (Yolande) Cormier of Sackville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predecease by three brothers, Francis, Alyre and Gerald Cormier. Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home 1177 Salisbury Road Moncton, on Wednesday, May 28th, from 12:00 - 2:45 pm. The funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 28th, in the funeral home chapel, Father Paul Breau officiating.
