Emile J. Daigle 1925 - 2008 Passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont on Friday, July 4th, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Born in Acadieville, NB, he was the son of the late Pacific and Ursule (Richard) Daigle. He served overseas during the Second World War, the Korean War and he retired from the Army in 1972. Emile is survived by his wife, Thelma Daigle (nee Brun); his children, Aline LeBlanc, Terrence Daigle and Darcie Brun (Louis) all of Dieppe; his sister, Marie-Jeanne Deveau; grandchildren, Kimberly Daigle, Lyne LeBlanc and Lisa Brun; great granddaughter, Shelly Daigle; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Emile was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Gerald, Florida Robichaud, William, Amaible, Yvon and Therese Dupuis. Visitation will be held at Maison Funéraire Fair Haven Funeral Home on Sunday, July 6th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A legion service will be held from the funeral home at 6:45pm on Sunday, July 6th, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, 160 Ste-Thérèse, Dieppe with Father Arthur Bourgeois officiating on Monday, July 7th, 2008 at 10:00am, with reception to follow at the Club D'age D'or de Dieppe.
