HEBERT, RAYMOND "RAY" - 1928-2009 - Ray Hebert, 80, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Lakeburn, NB, he was the son of the late Henri and the late Jeanne (née: Cormier) Hebert. Prior to retirement, Mr. Hebert worked for MacDonald Paving as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of St. Bernard's parish, Moncton, NB. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Roberta (née: MacDonald); two daughters, Lana (Claude) Hebert- Poirier of Moncton and Lynne (Luc) Hebert-Ouellette of Lantz, NS; two sons, Paul (Lisa) of Stillwater Lake, NS and Peter (Kelly) of Moncton; Rob (Lisa) MacDonald of Dieppe, who was like a son; one sister, Corinne (late Clarence) Allain of Dieppe; six brothers: Rene (Laura) of Wasaga Beach, ON, Euclide (Eveline) of Moncton, Oscar (Dorothy) of Hamilton, ON, Yvon (Roberta) of Moncton, Ron of Bathurst and Emile (Andréa) of Dieppe; five grandchildren: Ryan, Sarah, Ashleigh, Liam, Kayla as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters: Anna, Lorette, Marguerite and Rufine and also by one brother, Blair. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Loretto Roman Catholic Church, Lakeburn, NB on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at 11 am. Interment in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
