Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on August 19, 2008, Caleb White, age 90 years of Long Cove. Predeceased by parents: Josiah and Anne White; grandson Craig Power and great-granddaughter Cara Lynn Maddigan; brothers: Hubert, Stanley, Richard; sister Martha (Mardy) Coish. Leaving behind with loving and sweet memories his wife of 59 years Sophie; sons: Roland (Arleen), Larry (Vida); daughters: Marcie Power (Bert), Barbara Reid (Don); ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Gladys White, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at The Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Norman's Cove. Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Norman's Cove.
