DUFFY, LENA ROSE - Mrs. Lena Rose Duffy, wife of the late George Duffy of McKinnon Road, Miramichi, formally of Moncton, NB passed away Thursday morning, December 17, 2009 at Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 92. Born in Ammon, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Jessie (McFeter) Kelly. She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley Memorial United Church. She also was a member of the Lady's Auxiliary Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. She is survived by one daughter Linda Hartlen (Ross) of Miramichi; one son Gary (Katherine) Duffy of Cambridge Narrows; two sisters Alice Oulton(Vic) of Moncton, Shirley Elliot of Dartmouth; five grandchildren Joan Duffy, Donna Reissner, Kenneth Duffy, Cory Hartlen and Amanda Hartlen and nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one brother Ralph Kelly; one sister Mary Kelly; two brother in-laws Fred Duffy and Ross Elliot; and one sister in-law Norma Kelly. Mrs. Lena Rose Duffy will be resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation of Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 3 pm from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ross Wiseman officiating. Burial will take place later in the spring at Fair Haven Cemetery, Moncton.
