MCEACHREON, HUBERT FRANCIS - The death of Hubert Francis McEachreon husband of the late Margaret (Hay) McEachreon of Sutton Road, Miramichi, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 23,2009 at the age of 83. Born in Nelson, NB, Hubert was the son of the late Everett and Mary (Ahern) McEachreon. Hubert attended St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, was a WWII veteran, member of the Royal Canadian Legion and retired form Repap Pulp and Paper after 39 years. Hubert is survived by: five daughters: Linda Doyle (Keith) of Nelson Miramichi, NB; Theresa Savoy (Clarence) of Craigville, NB; Dorothy McEachreon of Doaktown, NB, Susan MacDonald (Douglas) of Cape Breton; Marilyn McEachreon (Sylvio) of Nelson Miramichi, NB; three sons: Robert (Sharon) of Douglasfield, NB; Gordon (Shirley) of Salmon River, NB; William (Sherry) of Nelson Miramichi, NB; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Hubert is predeceased by: sister: Bernetta; brothers: Mark and John and granddaughter: Tara Lynne. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Nelson, on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11 am with Father Jim McQuade officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery later in the spring. In Hubert's memory, donations may be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital or to a memorial of one's choice.
