
JULIA A. RENTON
RENTON, JULIA A. - Julia A. Renton, 88, of Stilesville with her family at her side, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Born in Stilesville, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Ina (Hicks) Kelly. Julia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and was a member of Stilesville United Church. She was a member of the U.C.W. within her church and enjoyed quilting, needle point, sewing, crocheting and rug hooking. Julia savored her trips to the sugar camps with her late husband Allie, had admiration for her community and her neighbors but first and foremost she thoroughly enjoyed spending precious time with her family. Julia will be sadly missed by her daughters, Peggy Renton, Moncton; Susan Williston (Garth), Bay du Vin; sons, Reginald (Jean), Thorsby, AB; Dale (Kim), Indian Mountain; grandchildren, Shelly, Kurt, Klint, Jodie, Jamie, Jillian, Kate and Ben; great grandchildren, Tyler, Corey, Rachel, Hanna, Joey, Branson, Raikkonen and Kyle; sisters, Annie Morton, Moncton; Ruth Murray (Paul), Upper Coverdale; Henry Letterick (Doug), Moncton; Viola Groundwater, Moncton; brothers, Ken Kelly (Marie), Stilesville; Bradley Kelly (Jeannine), Moncton; Weymond Kelly (Elsie), Riverview; Charles Kelly (Carol), Irishtown; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband, Allie B. Renton (June 2007); daughter, Ona Brace; grand daughter, Cindy; sisters, Leta and Zelda; brother, Richard. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service, Stilesville United Church, Thursday January 28, 2010, 2:00pm. Rev. Sheila Redden-Smith officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Stilesville Cemetery.
