Sydney/Michigan It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of our sister Colleen, Dec. 20, 2008, in Southgate, Mich. Colleen was born in Sydney, N.S., Aug. 17, 1929, the daughter of the late Charles and Ann (Walker) Smith. She is survived by sons, Bobby (Sharanne Heaton) Florida, Ronald, Tennessee, Scott (Mary); and daughter, Paula (Don) Witting, Southgate, Mich.; sister, Lynda (Wayne) Hayes; and brother, Donald (Gerry) Smith, Sydney, N.S. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by husband, Robert and brother, Charles (Helen) Smith. Colleen was a member of Allan Park Christian Church. Funeral took place on Dec. 23, 2008, under the direction of Nixon Funeral Home, Wyandotte, Mich.
