Margret (Lyle) Donato

71, Lower Sackville Margret (Lyle) Donato, 71, of Lower Sackville passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Dec. 30, 2008. Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Vickers) Lyle. She was an avid bowler and girl guide leader for many years. Margret will be remembered most for her amazing sense of humour. She was predeceased by her husband, Nick, brothers, Herbert, Alex, James, Edgar and Gerald and sisters, Catherine and Janet. She is survived by her three children, Nick (Shona), Sydney Mines, Paula (Jamie) and Darren, Lower Sackville; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all whom loved her dearly. Also surviving are sisters, Casilda (Jack) Beddow, Sydney Mines, and Sharon (Klaus) Heinrich, Bedford; brother, David (Eileen) Lyle, Bras d'Or. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be held Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Sydney Mines, officiated by Fr. J.J. MacDonald. Reception to follow.
