Leo Campbell
Leo Campbell, 84, born in Sydney, N.S. passed away peacefully at the Aberdeen Hospital on Jan. 2, 2009. The son of William B. and Delphine (Michelle) Campbell. Leo was a member of St. Theresa's parish while living in Cape Breton. He resided in New Glasgow with his sister Rita Young for a number of years. He trained and raced standardbred horses for many years in both the United States and Canada. He is survived by his brother, Lawrence from Antigonish; and sister, Rita Young from New Glasgow. Predeceased by brothers, William A., George E., Frank and James, sisters, Sadie and Tillie. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral Mass at St. Theresa's Church, 10 a.m. Tuesday. Donations can be made to the Parkinson's foundation or a charity of your choice.
