1921 - 2010 Passed away peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital, Montreal on March 7 at age eighty-eight. Born and raised in Hant’s Harbour, Newfoundland, she called Montreal home for more than 60 years. Lovingly remembered by her devoted daughters Nellie (Jerry Kopek) of Calgary and Shirley (Briand Hipson) of Montreal. She is also survived by her grandchildren Graham, Glen, Neil, Austin, and Melanie, and her great-grandchildren Ryan, Rachel, Simone and Derek. She is predeceased by her beloved son Selby. A private family funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at Cemetary Le Repos Saint-Francois D’Assise, Montreal.
