With sadness, we acknowledge the sudden passing of Elizabeth (Bette) Hutchins (Kerr, nee LeDrew) on Jan. 8, 2009, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Bill of Halifax. Loving mother of Grant and Janice (Orville); stepmother to Bob (Marlene) and Sharlene. Precious Nana to Kimberlea (Stephane), James (Susie) and Peter. She is survived by sister, Anne, California, and Donald, Sydney Mines. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. in Rockingham United Church, 12 flamingo Dr., 443-2947, followed by visiting and an informal reception in the church hall.
