Catherine June “Dolly” Puddifant (nee Sonier), 78, passed away March 4, 2010, at Dartmouth General Hospital, N.S. Born Feb. 11, 1932, in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Catherine Sonier. She was predeceased by her husband, James; brother, Bray; and sister, Marjorie. She is survived by sons, David (Audrey), Stonewall, Man.; Gordon (Teresa), Hal (Kim), Dartmouth, N.S.; Greg (Lynn), Winnipeg, Man.; Michael (June), Dartmouth; Patrick (Ginette), Calgary, Alta. Also survived by grandchildren, Kory, Lisa, Tyler, Mark, Nicole, Keith, Matthew, Jessica, Tim, Alex, Chloe; great-grandchildren, Malori and Madilyn. She is survived by brothers, Joe (Yvonne), Ralph (Norma), Michael (Velda), Jule; and sisters, Helen Guy (Anthony), Dorothy Hancock (Jim), Mary (Cookie) Jones, Barb McConkey (Mick); and many special nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Dartmouth Funeral Home. Visitation took place at Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street, on March 16. Funeral mass will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Summerside, March 18, at 12 p.m. followed by burial in the church cemetery. Donations in memory to your favourite charity are welcome. Family flowers only.
