It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph “Wayne” Hatcher announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the age of 57 years. He will be sadly missed by three sons: Phillip Wilson of Ontario, Wayne (Valda) Hatcher of Gander, John (Alicia) Hatcher of Fort McMurray, Alberta, two daughters: Jennifer Keller of Pasadena, Melissa Hatcher of Ontario, four brothers: Dave (Veronica) Preston of Little Burnt Bay, Robert (Alice) Hatcher of Stephenville, Gerald (Barbara) Hatcher of Stephenville, Terry (Sarah) Hatcher of Stephenville, 3 sisters, Gladys Locklyn of Gallants, Linda Hatcher of Stephenville, Sylvia Thomas of Stephenville, five grandchildren: Sebastian, Mya, Brandon, Jaxon, Hailey and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Joyce Hatcher and brother, Brian Hatcher. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, Mach 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, Hansen Highway, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
