Totten, Raymond Howard – 59, Bible Hill
It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raymond Totten, on March 19, 2010. Born in Truro he was the son of Claude and the late Iris (Graves) Totten. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Jill (J.P.) Girard and granddaughter, Lila Girard, whom he loved very much. He is also survived by his sisters; Elaine (Gerald) Stevens, Lower Onslow, Brenda (John) Webster, Truro, Valerie, Truro, Shelley (Paul) McLeod, Onslow Mt.; brothers, Brian, Onslow Mt., Kevin (Suzanne), Truro; stepmother, Estelle Totten; several nieces and nephews. Raymond spent most of his career working at the Ford dealership in Truro and was most recently employed with Colchester Co-Op until its closing. In his younger years, Raymond enjoyed playing hockey, but later in life golf and curling were his sports of choice. Raymond enjoyed playing harmonica at the jam sessions in Debert and the Truro Raceway and volunteering at the food bank. He will be sadly missed by all of his friends and family who loved him very much. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24 from 7-9 pm; memorial service on Thursday, March 25 at 11:00 am, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev.
