39, Eskasoni It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, sister and aunt, who passed away on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009. Born in Sydney, N.S., on Aug. 16, 1969, she was the daughter of Edward S. Julian and the late Georgina (Johnson) Julian. She was a member of the Holy Family parish, Eskasoni. She will be dearly and forever missed by her loving children, Lyle, Brandon, Tia and Taryn and godchild, Ethan Charles. She is also survived by her father, Edward S. Julian; three sisters, Frances 'Puddy', Membertou, Anna Jean and Theresa, two brothers, Ed Noel (Cori) and Evan Gerard, all of Eskasoni. She is also survived by godparents, Harriett Syliboy, Eskasoni, and Walter Johnson, Halifax; and by 14 nieces and nephews; four grandnephews and by numerous aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her mother, Georgina (Johnson) Julian; a brother and a sister who died in infancy. Visitation began Tuesday after 7 p.m. at the Gabriel Centre, Eskasoni. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 29 at Holy Family Church with Fr. Martin MacDougall officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
