1920 - 2010 - Shediac - Doris McLellan, 90, passed away peacefully at the St Joseph’s Hospital in Saint John, NB on Sunday, March 28 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Shediac on February 23, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Alderic and Exelda (Bastarache) Breau. Doris is survived by one daughter, Joanne Richard (late William (Billy) of Quispamsis; two sisters, Florine Breau of Vancouver, BC and Lina Boucher (late Gaston) of Colburg of ON; several nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph (2000); two sons, Kenneth, Michael; one daughter, Colleen; six brothers, Walter, Leon, Eric, Eddie, Ivan, Robert (Bob); two sisters, Georgina and Geneva.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, April 6th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 7th at 2 pm at the Our Lady of Mercy RC Church in Pointe-du-Chêne. No visitation on Wednesday.
