Helen Doreen Rogers of Dr. VA Snow Center in Hampton, passed away at her late residence on March 29, 2010. Born 1925 in Saint John to the late Ernest and Hazel (Earl) Craft. Helen is survived by her sons Freeman (Wanda) of Saint John, Eric (Ann) of Nauwigewauk, Patrick of Saint John and Michael (Audrey) of Salt Springs; one special daughter-in-law Shirley Rogers-Slauenwhite of Saint John; one brother Norman (Patricia) of Havelock; one sister Marion Schofield (Gerald) of Saint John; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents Helen was predeceased by her husband Arthur; three sons Donald, Bruce and George; brothers Gordon, Frank, Hazen, Charles and Donald; sisters Shirley Mills, Eileen “DeeDee” Crossman and Audrey and Lucy Craft.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel; with visitation one hour prior to the service from 12 noon until 12:50 p.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
