Margaret Chisholm

HALIFAX/ANTIGONISH - Margaret I. Chisholm, RN, Capt. (Ret), 95, passed away peacefully March 31, 2010 in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Halifax.
Born in Williams Point, Antigonish County, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Agnes Chisholm.
Margaret served overseas during WWII and was wounded in Italy. She loved to travel and was dedicated to her church and profession.
She is survived by her brothers, John (Catherine), Trenton, Ambrose (Kaye), New Glasgow, sisters-in-laws, Joyce Chisholm, Shirley Chisholm, Williams Point; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters: Christie, Rose MacLellan, Cecelia Noonan, Mary Ann Pottie; and brothers: Ray, Jim and Ronald; brothers-in-law: Dick MacLellan, Joseph Pottie and Ray Noonan.
Visiting hours are Monday, April 5, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at MacIsaac's Funeral Home, Antigonish. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2010 in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish.
Family flowers only. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
