86, Montreal/Glace Bay Edward Cohen, formerly of Glace Bay, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009. Beloved son of the late George and the late Mary Cohen of Glace Bay. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Morris and Ida Cohen, Michael Gallaman. Predeceased by other siblings and their spouses, Manson (Nonnie), Philip and Dorthy, Toby Diane Cohen, Bella Cohen Gallaman. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews. Leaving behind the dearest friendships of Rose Levi and Shirley Weingarten. Having served with the RCAF Air Crew overseas and 35 years with the Douglas Hospital, Edward made many lasting friendships, you all know who you are. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St., W., Monday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Veterans Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, DDO Shiva private. Donations in his memory may be made to your favourite charity.
