The death occurred suddenly in Ontario on March 24, 2009 of Mr. Leonard V. “Len” Lacey, formerly of Charlottetown, age 41 years. Left to mourn are his wife Janet, infant son Liam Vincent, his mother Anna McEachern-Lacey, his sisters Cindy (Blois) Costain, Linda (Tony) Warren, Cathy Shoemaker and Sharon Lacey (Beth Gregory). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, special uncle Father John Lacey, his mother and father-in-law Bill and Marion Boyle, and his brother-in-law John (Madelyn) Boyle. He was predeceased by his father Vincent Lacey, and his grandparents, Patrick and Rita (McNally) Lacey and Joseph and Mary McEachern. Resting at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke, Ontario (www.turnerporter.ca) for visitation on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday from St. Matthews Anglican Church at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation, specifically to the special care nursery or the basketeers.
