Passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009, Thomas D. Redmond, age 86 years. Predeceased by his parents Thomas J. and Isabella (nee Holden) and brother Robert. Left with fond and loving memories his sister Caroline, as well as his many other relatives and friends in Newfoundland, Washington, D.C. and New York, friends and neighbors at Topsail Road and Riverhead Towers. Tom will surely be missed by all his long time friends at Mahers. Resting at Caul’s Funeral home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday, March 25th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 26 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, March 27th at 11:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church, Patrick Street. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Church Building Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
