Frank Bulmer, age 77, of Sackville, passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday morning, January 8, 2009. Born in Sackville, he was a son of Charles and Frances (Tower) Bulmer. Frank was a long time employee with Sackville Home Hardware, then sold for Fuller Brush and Electrolux for 25 years. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, the former Erma Hicks, of Sackville, he will be sadly missed by two sons, Dale (Simonne), Danny (Michelle M.), and daughter, Heather (Donald Estabrooks) Bulmer, all of Sackville; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Charles (Shirley) of Renfrew, Ont.; and sister, Mary Stokes of Sackville. He was predeceased by son Colin and brother Robert. Arrangements were entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (506-364-1300) where visiting hours were held on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until the time of the funeral. The funeral service was held at the Jones Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 2 p.m., Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating. Burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery in the spring.
