Little Shemogue, N.B. – The death of Jacqueline Alice Murray occurred suddenly on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton after a lengthy illness. Born in Bayfield, N.B., Jackie was the daughter of the late Ralph & Frances (nee Hoch) Jones. Jackie will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Ronald; two sons, Jim (Erica) of Calgary, Wayne (Mina) of Halifax; one daughter Terry (Mark) Derrah of Halifax; two brothers, Richard Jones of Riverview, Howard (Florence) Jones of Cape Breton; two sisters, Phyllis (Roger) Tingley of London, ON, Judy (Roger) Madge of Oshawa, ON; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Jones of Oshawa, ON, Norma Jones of Kingsport, N.S.; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Amy, Jay, Christy, Lisa, Stephanie; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Russell and David Jones. Jackie's remains were entrusted into the care of Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin (538-2241). Visitation was held on Sunday, November 11, 2007 from the funeral home. A funeral service was held at the funeral home on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., Bill Drysdale officiating. Following the service, the remains will be cremated with interment to be announced at a later date. As per the family's request, donations in Jackie's memory can be made to the Murray Corner Pioneer Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
